What SEG fabric light boxes look like
Production process
Every sign follows the same route through our workshop: dimension drawing, lighting effect design, CNC cutting and assembly, a 48-hour lighting test, then timber-framed crating for export. You approve the drawing before we cut anything, and we send photos or video at each step.

How SEG fabric light boxes work
The graphic is printed on tension fabric with a thin silicone strip sewn into its edge. That strip presses into a groove in the frame, which pulls the fabric perfectly flat — no glass, no acrylic, no visible fixings. Because the graphic is separate from the frame, you can reorder a new print for under $100 and change the image yourself in minutes.

That is the range our own storefront SEG projects have landed in over the past year — including the printed fabric graphic, crating, air freight, US import duties and final delivery. Four things move the number:
- Overall length — a window graphic and a full facade run are different projects
- Frame depth and profile — deeper boxes and custom profiles cost more than standard extrusions
- Single or double-sided — double-sided boxes use two graphics and a deeper LED cavity
- Graphic count — extra printed skins for seasonal campaigns are quoted per print

How much do SEG fabric light boxes cost?
Most of our storefront SEG projects land between $680 and $1,650 USD delivered DDP to a US address, including the printed fabric graphic, crating, air freight, US import duties and final delivery. Length, frame depth, single or double-sided build and extra prints are what move the number.
How is SEG different from a normal light box?
A normal light box has a rigid printed acrylic or glass face. SEG uses a tension fabric graphic with a silicone edge that presses into the frame groove — it packs flat, cannot shatter, and can be replaced for under $100 without touching the frame or electrics.
Can we change the graphics ourselves?
Yes. The silicone edge pulls out of the groove by hand and the new print presses back in — no tools and no electrician. Most clients order two or three prints for seasonal campaigns and store them flat.
Can SEG boxes be used outdoors?
Yes, on covered or sheltered exterior walls. The LED modules are IP67 sealed and the frame is powder-coated aluminium; for fully exposed coastal installations we add extra gasketing and a deeper frame, and we will confirm the right spec from your photos.
How long does manufacturing and delivery take?
Production takes 5 working days after you approve the artwork proof, and DDP air shipping adds 10 to 14 days.
What do I need before I request a quote?
Your artwork (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF or a high-resolution JPG), the finished width and height, whether the box should be single or double-sided, and your full delivery address — street, city, state and ZIP. We need the complete address to calculate the exact DDP freight.
