How much do 24-inch channel letters cost? It is one of the most common size requests we get — and one of the easiest to misquote. The price depends on how many letters, how they are lit, and how they mount, not just the number 24.
This is how we price a 24-inch channel letter set, how letter height is measured in the first place, and what changes the number up and down.

Letter height is measured as cap height — the height of a capital letter like "H" or "M", not including accents, descenders, or the extra space a mounting template needs. If you are replacing an existing sign, measure the capital letters, not the full panel.
24 inches is about 61 cm. That is a common storefront size: readable from a moving car, but not oversized. It is the size we quote most often for strip-mall tenants, restaurants, and small retail fronts.

Our channel letters start at $800 factory-direct, and a 24-inch set is a mid-size build. The final number is driven by four things:

Going from 18-inch to 24-inch letters does not add a third to the price. You are paying for each letter's acrylic face, LED modules, returns, and mounting hardware — and some of those are near-fixed costs. Letter count and finish usually move the number more than the last few inches of height.
In practice, a 24-inch build is usually a small-to-medium job. The jump to 36-inch or 48-inch letters starts to push the price because the letter area — and therefore the acrylic and LED count — grows quickly.

36-inch letters are larger and more visible from a distance, but they cost more because each letter uses more acrylic and more LEDs. For most strip-mall storefronts, 24-inch is the sweet spot between visibility and cost.
