"How much?" is the first thing every storefront owner asks us, and the custom commercial sign cost is a range, not one fixed number. The same logo can be built three different ways, at three very different numbers, depending on how it is lit, how big it is, and how it has to mount to your wall.
What we can do — and what this guide does — is give you the real factory-direct price bands we quote from, show you what moves the number up and down, and tell you exactly what to send so we can return a fixed DDP price the same day.

These are our current factory-direct starting prices, delivered DDP to a US address. They are real bands we quote from every day, not a made-up "from $99" teaser:
Those are the bottom of each band. A large, multi-storefront, RGB, double-sided build can go well into the thousands. The point is that the price is driven by a small number of decisions, all of which you control.
When we quote, we price six things. Here they are in the order they move the number the most:
This is the single biggest lever. More acrylic, more LED modules, more power supplies, and a heavier crate all scale with the overall sign area. A 24-inch-tall set of channel letters costs far less than a 48-inch set — not twice as much per inch, but the area grows quickly.
A single-colour build uses a fixed driver and one channel per letter. RGB adds addressable pixel LEDs, a controller, and an app — so an RGB sign is usually 30–50% more than the same design in a single colour.
Brushed stainless returns cost more than painted aluminum. Deeper returns, mirror finishes, and specialty acrylics all add material and labour. A standard front-lit build is the most economical; halo-lit and mirror builds cost more.
A flat wall with an available raceway is the cheapest install. A sign that must span columns, hang on awnings, or mount on brick with no raceway needs more engineering and hardware.
Double-sided, back-to-back, or multi-storefront signs roughly double the lighting and framing work. We quote them as two builds in one housing, which is honest about why the price jumps.
If you are rolling out several locations — a franchise, a c-store group, a restaurant chain — the per-unit price drops. One drawing, one template, and shared crating spread the setup cost.

Most signs sold in the US pass through a domestic sign broker before they reach the shop that builds them. Each hand adds markup, and the customer pays for the chain, not the sign.
We are the factory. Our engineers cut the acrylic, wire the LEDs, and crate the finished sign in our own Guangzhou plant. That removes the middle layers entirely, which is why a build that a US broker quotes at $2,000 is often $900–$1,200 factory-direct from us — for the same materials.
We quote "DDP" — Delivered Duty Paid. That means the number we send you is the number on your door, not a number that balloons at the port.
A DDP quote includes:
Freight and production are itemized separately on the quote, so you can see exactly how much is the sign and how much is the shipping. There are no surprise fees at the port. For the official Incoterms definitions, see the International Chamber of Commerce.

To turn a price band into a fixed DDP quote, we only need three things. That is it:
Send those three and we return a free 1:1 CAD blueprint, a photorealistic night mockup, and a line-item price — usually within 24 hours, before you pay anything.
Factory-direct starting prices are about $100 for LED neon, $650 for 3D acrylic letters, $800 for channel letters, and $950 for dynamic RGB signs, delivered DDP to a US address.
Size, single-colour vs RGB, finish, mounting method, number of faces, and quantity all move the price. The same logo can be built several ways at very different costs.
Yes. DDP includes production, export packing, freight, customs clearance, import duties, and final delivery to your door.
